Time for another new feature on this little web project…7 by Smartpastor.  Here, at least two times a week, I will post a list of 7.  This might be a list about nearly anything.  It could be my 7 favorite fantasy baseball sleepers for the year ahead or my 7 tips to preach more effectively.  It may be theological, it may be political, it may be about TV, it could be anything – basically just 7 things on my mind. 

To kick it off I want to share 7 sites I like that you may not be aware of.

1.  Scotteriology -  The tag line is "for those who don’t take themselves to seriously" and it is apparent that Scott does not.  His content is very funny and thoughtful.  Be sure to check out his logo – it is awesome. 


   

2. Brad Boystrom – A fellow pastor in the Covenant Church, Brad dishes up a "random" post nearly ever day that is full of all sorts on interesting items.  Brad now serves as a missionary in Guam.

3.  Deep thoughts by Gman – The "Messy Canadian Youth Worker" is on my daily read list due to his great finds of Christian crap, videos, and funnies. 

4.  CRN.info – I had thought for a while that I should start a web site called, "cure the slice" where we would take on the crowd at the Slice of Ladocia.  This guy did it. 

5.  Dumb Little Man – This site is exploding in popularity.  From the health value of Chinese food to how to negotiate a raise, this site if loaded with great tips. 

6.  Youth Hacks -   This site is very similar to another a like, Pastor Hacks. If you are looking for a way to manage your life in ministry, check out this site.   While the author is a youth worker, the ideas work for all of us.

7.  Peter King of SI – Okay, if you are a football guy you know about Peter King…he rocks.  Since most of the stuff on SI is not worth the time, I subscribe via the Peter King RSS feed.  (Other football note…see my super bowl pick from last year.  I was an extra point away from being dead on.)
