Firefox - The Monday Hack

Internet and Technology
About six months ago I called my friend Mark to ask him about some computer questions I had. One of things he asked me about was if I was using Firefox. I told him no, and he went on to gush about why I should start using it to browse the web.
Reluctantly I agreed to try it out and I am sure glad I did. Firefox rocks! Here is why I like it.
- It is faster than the Internet Explorer. I use a web mail account for family communication and the interface seems to load at least twice as fast in Firefox. I know we are probably talking about a second or two, but I prefer fast to slow.
- Firefox has the ability to customize it for your needs based on the thousands of plug-ins available. These plug-ins greatly increase what you can do on the web effectively. I know Internet Explorer is trying to get into the plug-ins game, but Firefox is way ahead in terms of its functionality and offerings.
Like most of what I feature on The Monday Hack…it is free. And, as we all know, free is good!
So do yourself a favor and check out Firefox.
Happy browsing.
