Growing up in America

The evidence is anecdotal but it also makes sense to me – kids are growing up faster.

Questions to ponder…how quickly do our churches adapt to this trend? Is a youth pastor still the logical choice for a second staff member? Is your children’s ministry changing to fit today’s kids? Is this trend going to continue….do we need to aim even younger for our "preventative medicine"?

if we ourselves grow, including keeping aware of what’s going on around us… that’s half the battle. the other half is not being offended by it and living as salt and light in the midst of it.
