In another example of bridge building….(please note the sarcasm)
LYNCHBURG, Va. The Reverend Jerry
Falwell says global warming is "Satan’s attempt to redirect the
church’s primary focus" from evangelism to environmentalism.
……………..Falwell says the documentary
should have been titled "A Convenient Untruth."Falwell said the
Bible teaches that God will maintain the Earth until Jesus returns, so
Christians should be responsible environmentalists, but not what he
calls … quote … "first-class nuts."

I know the science is still a little iffy. But come on Jerry, a first-class nut? I think for a number of secular humanists, their concern for the environment comes out of a longing to know God, they just don’t know it. Calling them a nut drives that longing elsewhere.

There’s definitely a first-class nut involved in the story.
Cutting down on consumption and pollution is such a terrible distraction, eh? The mystery for me is how Jerry has a platform and manages to stay on it.
This disproves both karma and the fairness of life.

Just the other day I was in Office Depot, dropping on an ink jet cartridge in the recycle box, and then buying a new one. On the way out I was asked if I wanted a plastic bag and I declined thinking of our landfills.
And you know what is a shame…the whole time I did not think about a lost person!
