More on running a church on the cheap
I got it a week ago…the “notice.”
Norton was informing me that my anti-virus software was about to expire and it was time for my church to hand over its credit card number and renew for one more year.
The very same day my LifeHacker subscription via bloglines had an article on the top ten free, open source applications. Included in that was a free anti-virus package. Do any of my fellow thrifty smart pastor readers use it? Does anybody see how, if your church has say 10 computers networked, this could save a significant amount of money?
The site for the free, anti-virus software is http://www.clamwin.com/.
