Notes from around the internet
I have read a few things yesterday about technology that I found quite interesting.
One, The University of Michigan is now offering a Master’s degree in ’social computing.’ If you can get a degree from a university like Michigan on social computing, the church needs to be thinking about it too.

Two, Itunes is going to allow you to buy a track for $.99, as always, but soon you will be able to buy tracks for $1.29 and share it with anyone you want…legally! For thirty more cents you can buy off your guilt. I think a bundle of folks will do this.
Follow up: I seem to have been mistaken in my understanding of the
ITunes announcement. It would appear that you can use the track you
purchase on non Apple devices and on as many devices you own, but the
copyright laws still apply. Thanks to Robin for pointing out my
misunderstanding.

Just wanted to clarify – I don’t think that by dropping DRM they are saying that you can now “legally” share your music with anyone you want. They are just removing the technical barriers, but the law still applies.
