On attack blogs
It could happen to you….
A friend of mine had his church go through some conflict…who doesn’t? But this was new - rather than just gossiping in the grocery store about it, the people involved whet out and started a blog to attack the church, the denomination, and its ministry.
This is a small, mid-western church, and the blog started getting a great deal of web traffic and was even picked up by the good old "slice" folks. (Even though in many cases the facts in that blog were wrong.) The blog even published scanned confidential notes and letters.
So what do you do? How can you be proactive? How can you prevent this kind of thing from becoming damaging to your church should it happen? Well check out this article for some ideas.
