Running a church on the cheap
We all know paying the churches expenses can be tough. There are so many things we want to do and so few resources to do it. As a result, we are always looking to save a buck or two.
Did you realize how easy it is to do many of our computer functions at a reduced cost? There are free spreadsheet programs, word processing apps, blogging platforms, page builders, phone services, e-mail providers, group calendar functions….even free operating systems!
Here is one companies adventures in going free. Hey, do you have the money to upgrade everyone on your staff to the latest Microsoft office suite? That’s what I thought.

It’s nice to see someone else writing on this topic. Ministry on a shoestring budget is hard. We just made a few more pay cuts recently. I wrote about this about a month ago here:
