First, the closer teens live to where alcohol is sold, the greater the risk of binge drinking and driving under the influence. Second, negative advertising about drinking does not seem to discourage underage drinking.

3. An inside look at being a pirate
This is a fascinating look at how one justifies sin. Newsweek magazine has a look at the life of a Somali pirate. The final quote, “But when evil is the only solution, you do evil. That is why we are doing piracy. I know it is evil, but it is a solution.”
4. Making Sense of Twitter
I have been playing around with TweetDeck and between that software and this article am starting to make sense of this whole Twitter thing. I would love to interact with you.
5. New and Noteworthy from Google
First, via the Gmail Labs you can add a “send and archive” button to your gmail interface. Pretty cool…saves a few seconds and keeps your email inbox empty. Also, Smashing Apps has “11 Great Hidden Things Google Can Do That You Should Know.” Pretty amazing what you can do from the toolbar and search page.
6. Tony Dungy calls it a football career.
Tampa Bay Online has a nice piece online about Tony Dungy and what is next for him. As it turns out, he may be walking away from being a football coach but not coaching.
