I am going to try a new and expanded version of Smart Links with a little more commentary and a wider range of content.  Let me know what you think.

CHURCH LIFE AND FAITH

• The Slice has set their rifle scopes towards my virtitual friend, David.  It is pathetic that many of their commentators jump to conclusions based on one word.  Are not we all going to stand "naked" before God one day?  (Heb 4:13)
• As a pastor, I hate this…Christian telemarketers.   So does John.
• Another thing I hate…door to door salesmen.  But should a country outlaw door to door evangelism?  Cambodia has.

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY –

IN THE NEWS

• It doesn’t matter if I am the 1st, 20th, or 2000th richest person in the world, says Carlos Slim.  Yea, I would not care either if I was 2000.  Heck, I would accept 20,000.

POLITICS

• I can’t believe I am actually writing this, but I think Hillary was right.  How else is little old me going to get his voice heard on an issue he cares about?  By a "special interest" group, of course.   If I want to save the whales I could write a letter to my senator, or, join Greenpeace.   Who is going to get more done? 

SPORTS

• Anybody else find it interesting that Barry Bonds hit his record tying home run off a guy suspended himself for steroids?
