OUTREACH
- How will your church take advantage of the 81 minutes a day people are available? Do you think you could do a regular "podcast" for your church members?
POLITICS
- I am starting to agree with E. J. Dionne that Mitt Romney has a chance to be the Republican nominee for President. There is a good (and spirited!) conversation going on over here about voting for a Mormon.
- There they go again. The "God Hates Fags" crowd is blaming the bridge collapse in Minnesota on their tolerance of homosexuality.
BECAUSE WE HAVE TO COPY EVERY GOOD IDEA
- Proving once again that Christians struggle thinking for themselves, we now have God Tube. Read about it on Mashable. (Great story title – Upload if you love Jesus)
PRODUCTIVITY (and sanity!)
- We are bombarded every day with information. We are overloaded. So do yourself a favor and learn how to deal with information overload.
ENTERTAINMENT
- I used to be a big Harrison Ford fan. But did you know that Nick Nolte turned down the role of both Han Solo and Indiana Jones – both signature films for Ford? Read about other movies and the stars that turned down roles in them. I think their is an illustration about God’s perfect direction in here somewhere.
FROM THE I WAS ONCE LOST…WELL….ACTUALLY I WAS NEVER LOST I WAS JUST HIDING FILE
- The wife of an Alabama minister missing for more than four months has been located by police unharmed and working under an alias at a fast-food restaurant in New York state, authorities said Monday. (via The Provocative Church)
BECAUSE I CAN NOT HELP BUT LAUGH
- Suzanne Marie Butts (yes, that is really her name…bummer huh?) is in trouble for stealing toliet paper. And she needs your help. Link: Save Suzanne Marie Butts
