What not to do with your web site
A thousand apologies if this hits a little close to home, but this is great advice on what not to do with your church’s web site. Check it out.
My favorites:
Use A "My First Website" Design – No, this doesn’t make it look like we’re not even trying, or that we’re completely behind the times.
(Smart Pastor note: You have to follow the link to see the picture in the second one. Too Funny!)
Write About What Your Church Won’t Stand For – Nothing oozes love like singling out all the things your church hates.
Thanks to http://corporatecartoons.blogspot.com/2006/09/more-problogger-favorites.html for the link.

Seems like many churches could use help on their sites. Having a good one sure makes a difference! At our church, we feel like we’re losing the teens and young adults because we’re not communicating with them effectively online.

I agree, Brad.
My churches web site is so bad I discourage people from looking at it. I think this is even becoming true to older people as well.
