What to do with a dying church
This is interesting. A group has formed to connect dying churches, both people and property, with church plants. In a quote from their web site…
"DonateChurch.com is a project to take dying churches who see the vision of re-planting their dying church to help start a new church plant. These churches believe the gospel needs continue to the generations to come. Like the parable of the mustard seed, they willingly die in order that new life may come."

This seems kind of morbid and kind of refreshing at the same time. What do you think?

This is a much better arrangement than I’ve seen several times among the Presbyterians where a local congregation will attempt to pull out and then be faced with a lawsuit by denominational headquarters.
